If you read this blog, I’m assuming you’re interested in the written literature of water. If you’re specifically interested interested in the written historical literature of water in the Western U.S., then you must contact Marc Selvaggio. Selvaggio is a book dealer in Berkeley, Calif. He doesn’t seem to have a web site, but if you’re interested in the history of water in the West, you should contact him and ask for his catalog, Water in the American West. It’s full of all kinds of gems, including some of the primary sources for the history of the Hetch Hetchy project, the Central Valley Project, and the Central Arizona Project.
